It was now time to spread the ABC which is a mix of sand, gravel and rock. It is spread evenly to
provide an even base for the concrete floor. Once it is spread it is compacted with a vibrating
plate compactor. When the concrete is poured for the floor this base helps maintain an even thickness.

This plate compactor sure beats the hand powered one used earlier in this project.
The ABC is compacted and can now be walked on without leaving foot prints.
